<strong>China: Yunnan Tobacco Academy of Agricultural Sciences Gains Great Achievement in Scientific and Technological Innovation</strong>

In 2013, Yunnan Tobacco Academy of Agricultural Sciences gained great achievements in their scientific and technological innovation. In 2013, it carried out 61 research projects (including standard), and 4 new tobacco varieties approved by the national related deapatment, gained 9 awards for scientific and technological achievements, obtained 24 patents, enacted 5 standards, edited 2 books, published 79 research papers.

In the four approved new tobacco varieties, there are two flue-cured tobacco varieties, and one burley tobacco variety. In the 24 patents, there are 13 pieces of invention patents, and 11 pieces of utility model patents. Enditem
