<strong>China: Hunan Yongzhou Launches out Tobacco Industrial Park Project</strong>

On December 16 morning, ground-breaking ceremony of Hunan Yongzhou Tobacco Industrial Park Project was held in Changfeng industrial park. Yongzhou vice mayor Yi Jialiang announced the project started. Li Mindeng, deputy general manager of China Tobacco Hunan Industrial corp. and Hunan Tobacco Re-drying Corp. chairman of the board, Zheng Baishun, deputy director of the standing committee attended the ceremony.

Yongzhou tobacco industrial park project with a total investment of 985 million yuan, the total plot area is 667 mu(44.46 hectares), and among it, Yongzhou Re-drying Corp. relocation reform project with a total investment of 715 million yuan, the total plot area is 416 mu (27.73hectares), and total construction area of 119000 square meters, and will build a new leaf production line of 18000 kg/h, and construct choose leaf tobacco warehouse, boiler room and other affiliated facilities. After the completion of the project, Yongzhou Re-drying Corp. processing capacity will reach 1 million dan (50 million kgs) annually, and will become the tobacco processing center and logistics center in south of Hunan.
