<strong>China: Hubei Province Tobacco Production Infrastructure Construction Project Passes Acceptance Check</strong>

On November 17 to 21, STMA Water Source inspection group all line 14 checked Hubei province tobacco leaf production infrastructure construction project of 2012.

In 2012, Hubei province established a total of 17216 tobacco leaf production infrastructure projects, with a tobacco industry total investment of 771 million yuan, and 2012 was one of year with largest amount investment and the most widely coverage in eight years since STMA to establish tobacco bases. In this year, STMA inspection group checked four leaf tobacco production areas, and 14 counties (cities) documents materials, and sampled 379 projects of 8 counties (cities) in 20 towns of 43 village, covering all project types, and finally made a conclusion that the entire province's 2012 tobacco base construction projects through the acceptance.
