China Tobacco of Hunan Industrial Corp. finished leaf tobacco purchasing in Yunnan tobacco base units. This time, China Tobacco of Hunan Industrial Corp. purchased, checked and processed about 2.33 million kgs leaf tobacco from Shizong leaf tobacco production area.

This year, China Tobacco of Hunan Industrial Corp. arranged Shizong Red Soil Base Unit as a pilot production places, and the bases planted Yunyan 105 variety about 1000 hectares, and produced about 2.5 million kgs, and about 2.33 million kgs were purchased. Among the purchased leaf tobacco, more than 85 percent is upper grade leaf tobacco, more than 80 percent is middle part leaf tobacco, the percent of upper part and lower part is 15 percent and 5 percent respectively, and the grade qualification rate is in line with national standards.
