<strong>China: Hunan Tobacco Monopoly Arranges Mechanization Work in Tobacco Fields</strong>

On October 11, Hunan Tobacco Monopoly Bureau (company) held a meeting in Changsha to arrange the mechanization work in tobacco fields.

During the meeting, duty officers of the province's 15 bases unit field mechanized project reported following situations: arrangment of agriculture machines, management of    cooperative and maintenance of machines, etc., They also changed ideas on some problems, including how to manage cooperatives, and discussed solutions and concrete measures.

The meeting proposed several opinions on this project, including in the next phase work of field mechanization, well-organized cooperatives should be chosen; to choose mature machines, and to strengthen the contrast test of premature machines and improves them; to strengthen the guidance of the cooperative, to expand the scope of business services, to enhance the surplus ability of cooperative itself; to actively explore the maintenance measures of agriculture machines.
