<strong>China: Mild Aromatic Tobacco of Chinese County Emerges as Best</strong>

Mild aromatic leaf tobacco produced in Huidong County in Liangshan Prefecture of southwest China's Sichuan Province has emerged as the best leaf tobacco of its kind with the most outstanding clear sweet smell, the most remarkable extent of flowing and the highest score in terms of quality, a top official with the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) has said.

In a work report delivered at a national symposium on the work of characteristic high-quality leaf tobacco development and leaf tobacco production technologies held in Beijing from February 28 to March 1, Deputy Director-General He Zehua of the STMA said that mild aromatic leaf tobacco normally wins the highest score in terms of quality, and that the mild aromatic style of leaf tobacco produced in Kunming, Yuxi and Pu'er Cities of southwest China's Yunnan Province, Liangshan Prefecture in Sichuan and Longyan City of southeast China's Fujian Province has been well embodied.

In particular, sample leaf tobacco products from Huidong County of Liangshan Prefecture, Yiliang District of Kunming City and Yongding District of Longyan City are the most typical while Mild aromatic leaf tobacco produced in Huidong County of Liangshan Prefecture has emerged as the best leaf tobacco of its kind with the most outstanding clear sweet smell, the most remarkable extent of flowing and the highest score in terms of quality, according to He Zehua.  Enditem
