China Leaf Tobacco Price Will Go up by 10 Percent

China National Development and Reform Commission and the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration jointly issued a notice on Leaf Tobacco Purchasing Price Policy in 2013 on Dec. 21. Notice shows that, in order to guide farmers to arrange tobacco leaf production reasonable, and keep the tobacco supply and demand balance, China will increase the purchase price of flue-cured tobacco by an average of 10% in 2013.
