China Tobacco Society Delegation Visits Yuxi Tobacco Farmstead

A delegation from China Tobacco Society, led by President Zhang Hui, arrived in Yuxi Tobacco Farmstead of Hongta Group in southwest China’s tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on August 6 to study the ongoing construction of the tobacco farmstead as an organic tobacco growing base, accompanied by Deputy General Manager Gao Xingzhi of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd.

During the visit, Hongta Group Deputy CEOs Ge Fuming and Zhang Jianhua respectively reported to the delegation the construction of Yuxi Tobacco Farmstead, the marketing of high-end cigarette products made from organic leaf tobacco grown in Yuxi Tobacco Farmstead, and the current growing of organic tobacco in the farmstead. Zhang Hui elaborately asked about the organic tobacco production management models, technical standards, production costs, etc of Hongta Group, fully affirmed the efforts of Hongta Group to lead the trend of consumption of organic leaf tobacco and develop a cyclic economy with the tobacco farmstead, and expressed the hope that Hongta Group will keep pace with technological advances along the path of developing organic products, and do a good job of development of competitive brands of Hongta.
