China: Provincial Corporation Sends Delegation to Visit Tobacco Production Base

Gansu Provincial Tobacco Co., Ltd. in northwest China’s Gansu Province sent a delegation to visit a tobacco production base in Xuanwei City of southwest China’s tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on July 10, where the delegation conducted on-site inspection of the construction of units of the base in Wude Township of the city.

The delegation was led by Manager Niu Ruifeng of Gansu Provincial Tobacco Co., Ltd. in charge of business affairs with Yunnan. During the visit, the delegation carefully conducted investigation of the structure of tobacco varieties grown in fields, the trend of growth of tobacco crops, the ecological environment there, etc, and exchanged views with township leaders and managers at the grassroots level on preparation for leaf tobacco harvest in the forthcoming busy season, leaf tobacco allocation and transportation, intertillage management and other processes in tobacco production. Meanwhile, the delegation also conducted on-site inspection of the trend of growth of tobacco in Delu and Longtan Townships in Xuanwei City. Enditem
