China: Yingkou Cigarette Factory Builds New Leaf Tobacco Storage Source from: Hongta Group 02/20/2012 Yingkou Cigarette Factory of Hongta Liaoning Tobacco Co., Ltd. in northeast China's Liaoning Province - a subsidiary of Hongta Group - has recently completed the construction of a new leaf tobacco storage, in efforts to realize leap-forward business development in the 2011-2015 five-year period.
Accompanied by Deputy General Manager Zhang Zheng of Hongta Liaoning Tobacco Co., Ltd., Chen Guohua, a division chief with China Tobacco Industry Corporation, traveled to Yingkou Cigarette Factory on February 9 to inspect the newly established leaf tobacco storage for official technical acceptance.
At the site of inspection, Chen Guohua highly commented on the construction of the leaf tobacco storage for "rapid progress, high quality and rational use of funds".
After conducting the inspection, Chen Guohua, on behalf of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration, issued a certificate of official acceptance of the leaf tobacco storage to Yingkou Cigarette Factory, signifying smooth completion of the process of establishment of the leaf tobacco storage.
The construction of the leaf tobacco storage was started in July 2009. In the process of construction, both the tobacco industry of China and the local government of Yingkou City extended great support. The leaf tobacco storage was put to initial operation in April 2011 following preliminary inspection for technical acceptance.
The operation of the leaf tobacco storage will contribute to comprehensive improvement and strengthening of the leaf tobacco storage environment, storage capacity, quality improvement and reduction of cost, etc on the part of Yingkou Cigarette Factory, which will in turn pave the way for Yingkou Cigarette Factory to meet its targets for business operation and to realize leaf-forward business development in the 2011-2015 five-year period.
