Karnataka Prices Touching Last Year's Levels

About 1.2 million kg of flue-cured tobacco is being marketed daily at the continuing auctions in the Indian state of Karnataka, according to a story in the latest issue of the BBM Bommidala Group newsletter. Growers are said to have been delivering good quantities of bright grades, and prices are reported to have stabilized, touching last year's level.
