China's Leaf Exports Increased in First Nine Months Source from: Tobacco Reporter 10/28/2011 China exported 82,477 tons of leaf tobacco valued at US$385.7 million during the January-September period, according to figures from the General Administrations of Customs reported by the Xinhua News Agency and relayed by the TMA.
The volume of exports was up by 8.2 per cent on that of the first nine months of 2010, while the value was up by 4.9 per cent.
China exported 90,784 tons of leaf tobacco valued at US$438.6 million during the whole of last year. Enditem
