North Carolina Sets Up Tornado Hotline And Website

In the wake of the April 16 tornadoes, the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (http://ncagr.gov/) has activated a hotline to provide farmers with information about assistance programs, listen to their concerns and answer questions. Farmers who suffered damage in the tornadoes are able to call a toll free line (1-866-506-6222) Monday-Friday from 07.00 hours to 19.00 hours, and on this coming, holiday weekend, from 07.00-14.00 hours on Friday, April 22, and Saturday, April 23.
