Units of Tobacco Production Base in Southwest China Passed Stringent Appraisal

A first batch of eight units of an exclusive high-quality leaf tobacco production base established in 2010 under designation by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA) in Huili County of Liangshan Prefecture in southwest China's Sichuan Province to promote the development of a modern tobacco agriculture have recently all passed stringent appraisal for technical acceptance by Sichuan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration. In line with the spirit of a recent symposium on on-site assessment and preliminary appraisal for technical acceptance of units of the exclusive high-quality leaf tobacco production base established under designation by the STMA, and also in line with the requirement of relevant documents issued by the STMA, Sichuan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration particularly formed a taskforce to assess and appraise the first batch of eight units. So far, the work of assessment and appraisal has been fully completed and all of the eight units have been rated A in comprehensive grading. Enditem
