Malawi Tobacco Producers Double to 30,000 This Year, Nation Newspaper Says

The number of tobacco growers in Malawi, the world's largest producer of the burley variety, has doubled to 30,000 this year, the Nation reported, citing Tobacco Control Commission Chief Executive Officer Bruce Munthali. The newspaper didn't give a reason for the increase in the number of producers. Enditem
