Tobacco Production up in The Philippines

The Philippines' National Tobacco Administration is predicting a 14 per cent increase in tobacco production this year to 60 million kg, according to a story in The Philippine Star quoting the agency's corporate planning manager, Rex Antonio Teoxon. Speaking to local press reporters, Teoxon said there was plenty of room for growth since, in the past, tobacco production had reached as high as 80 million kg. Enditem
