Malawi Prices Rise Above "Minimum"

Tobacco prices in Malawi rose above the "minimum" price for the first time yesterday, according to a Bloomberg report quoting The Nation. Prices were said to have risen by 64 per cent during sales at the Limbe floors, with the highest price, $2.95 per kg, well above the government-set "minimum" of $2.15 per kg. Enditem
