Burley Sales Start Slowly in Zimbabwe Source from: Tobacco Reporter 06/03/2009 Jun 2, 2009-Zimbabwe's Burley sales got off to a slow start with only 1,012 kg of tobacco being sold on the first day for an average price of US$1.57 per kg, according to a report in the Herald quoting Tobacco Industry Marketing Board figures.
Last year, 5,098 kg was sold for an average price of US$2.09 per kg on the first day. Enditem
