Zimbabwe's Sales Season Kicks Off

More than 1.6 million kg of tobacco were sold for more than US$ 4.3 million during Zimbabwe's first three days of auction and contract trading, according to a report in The Herald. Some deliveries to the sales floors have been disrupted by transport problems and recent rains led to some farmers having their bales rejected on the grounds that they were too wet.
