Zimbabwean Farmers to Learn From Kunming Visit Source from: Tobaccoreporter.com Nov 17, 2008 11/18/2008 Five Zimbabwean tobacco farmers contracted to the Tina Ze Tobacco Co left for China at the weekend to learn how to improve tobacco production in Zimbabwe, according to a report in The Herald.
The five were selected as the best of the 150 farmers contracted last year by Tina Ze, which was established in Zimbabwe in 2004.
Tina Ze's administration manager, Zhitao Li, said his company would fully sponsor the five farmers for their week-long visit to China's leading tobacco-farming province, Kunming.
"We want to motivate our farmers so that they continue to produce good quality tobacco," Zhitao said. Enditem
