Uganda: BATU Emerges Top at Agriculture Show

BRITISH American Tobacco (BATU) was the first runner-up in the agricultural and value-addition sector at the just concluded Source of the Nile show in Jinja. BATU was recognised for its contribution to economic development through agriculture. "We are proud to receive recognition from the National Farmers Federation and the agriculture ministry. BATU is committed to seeing that our leaf growing operations have a positive impact on farmers and their communities," Cathy Adengo, the corporate and regulatory affairs manager, said.
