Sichuan Makes Efforts to Establish High Quality Leaf Tobacco Production Base

7 leaf tobacco production bases of Sichuan is carrying more activities to reduce damages made by natural disaster, according to resource near Sichuan Tobacco Monopoly Administration. According to plan, Sichuan leaf tobacco purchasing quantity will reach 3.5 million dan, increased 1 million dan than last year. Most leaf tobacco seedling sheds in Sichuan production bases have been destroyed by natural disaster in Jan. Production bases are making efforts to supply enough leaf tobacco. Some benefit support policies have been made in production bases to improve farmers to plant leaf tobacco. Now Sichuan province has appointed 11 modern tobacco agriculture experimental units. 6 experimental units of Liangshan have been established by the end of March. Enditem
