Philippines' Rice Crisis Draws in Tobacco Farmers

Tobacco farmers in the Philippines are lining up behind the government to help solve the country's rice crisis, according to a report in The Philippine Star. Their plan is for 6,670 tobacco farmers to grow 16,675 tonnes of rice on 3,335 ha of tobacco land in the northern provinces.
