Shaanxi will Provide more Support to Tobacco Farmers

Xunyang County of Shaanxi Province plans to provide more support to tobacco farmers, such as more money and technique support on the base of raising the tobacco price 20 percent for the whole country. This year Xunyang projects to plant 100000 mu flue-cured tobacco, and increase tobacco production support from 150 yuan in 2007 to 200 yuan for per mu, and provide 21 million yuan tobacco production facilities. The total support money will reach to 41 billion yuan. Enditem.
