Zimbabwe Aims for 120 Million kg Source from: tr.itsmyiq.com Nov 9, 2007 11/13/2007 The Tobacco Industry and Marketing board expects Zimbabwe's 7,000 small-scale farmers to plant 12,000 hectares of tobacco during the upcoming growing season, reports The Herald.
A target of 120 million kg has already been set for this year's tobacco crop. To date, 495 kg of tobacco seed-an all-time record-has been sold, according to TIMB figures.
