Growers Call for Early Start to Auctions Source from: tobaccoreporter.com Zimbabwe, Monday, February 26, 2007 02/28/2007 Tobacco growers in Zimbabwe are pushing for an early opening of the auction floors in Harare, which are due to start only in April, because they fear that rampant inflation could wipe out profits should the harvested crop stay on their farms for too long, according to a Zimbabwe Independent report.
