Four More Tobacco Plants for Sale

Sofia. Four more tobacco plants will be put up for privatization by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), Bulgartabac Holding's Managing Director Hristo Lachev has announced as cited by Monitor daily in its edition of today. The plants in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sofia and Blagoevgrad will find their new owners after the government decides on the terms and methods for sale of the companies. Lachev thinks the decisions should be made within a short time. The four plants will be privatized with a cigarette production license. Their sale will take place by means of the stock exchange by the end of February, the Ministry of Economy and Energy has announced. Last year the tobacco holding company successfully sold Yurii Gagarin BT-Plovdiv and Pazardzhik BT on BSE, but there was no interest in Dupnitsa BT in any of the three performed auctions. Enditem
