Export Earnings Increased Source from: tobaccoreporter.com Zimbabwe, Friday, January 5, 2007 01/08/2007 Zimbabwe last year earned about US$206.8 million from the export of 67.6 million kg of tobacco, up from the US$203.5 million earned during 2005 from the sale of 64.4 million kg, The Herald reported yesterday.
Quoting figures from the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board, the report said the sale of 66.7 million kg of flue-cured at an average price of US$3.06 per kg had earned US$204.3 million, while the sale of Burley had accounted for the rest. Enditem
