Lebanon's Tobacco Crop Lost

The tobacco crop, on which 14,000 families, or about 100,000 people, rely for their livelihoods has been one of the casualties of the conflict in Southern Lebanon, according to a Reuters report by Tom Perry. Farmers forced from their homes were unable to reap their crops during the usual harvesting period of June to August. Enditem
