Duty-free Event Registration Open

The 2016 TFWA World Exhibition and Conference is scheduled to take place in Cannes, France, from October 2 to 7.

What is called ‘pre-registration’ is open at tfwa.com until 7 September.

Plans are said to be well advanced for the event's Conference and Workshops, with speakers due to be confirmed shortly.

In a note in its Evoice newsletter, TFWA said that the conference would feature a strong industry perspective alongside the usual macro-economic and geopolitical analysis.

"The workshops will include an assessment of the airline sales channel (Inflight Focus)," it said.

"Russia is examined in Market Watch, a timely appraisal given the pressures facing the country's outbound passengers so crucial to several locations.

"Finally, a second Research Workshop will build on the success of last year's forum by looking at the latest TFWA-commissioned data on the travelling consumer." Enditem
