2015 Big Smoke New York-Photo Gallery

Nearly 1,200 cigar enthusiasts descended upon Manhattan's west side last Thursday, all uniting in good company for Cigar Aficionado's Big Smoke-New York's largest celebration of cigars and the good life.

Held at Pier 92 along the Hudson River, the one-night cigar extravaganza served as a haven for cigar lovers who, given the city's strict smoking laws, may not smoke indoors among like-minded individuals. Many scrambled to greet cigarmakers-such as Rocky Patel of Rocky Patel Premium Cigars and Alan Rubin of Alec Bradley-and collect as many smokes as possible from the dozens of brands handing out samples. Others took the more laid-back approach, chatting with acquaintances while savoring a cigar and a cocktail from one of several premium spirits booths.

Although the weather was a bit colder than it was at the Big Smoke Las Vegas, the drinks poured freely and the smokes were just as plentiful in the Big Apple. Check out all of the action in the slide show below. Enditem
