China: Shanghai Tobacco Group Donated RMB 10 Million Yuan to Charitable Foundation

On December 13, Shanghai Tobacco Group held "love my China" charity education special fund donation ceremony. Director Feng Guoqin, and vice director Jin Minzhu, xie lingli, Yao Zongjiang of Shanghai Charity Foundation, Shi Chao, director of Shanghai Tobacco Monopoly Administration, and general manager of Shanghai Tobacco Group attended the donation ceremony.

In the donation ceremony, Shanghai Tobacco Group donated 10 million yuan to Shanghai Charity Foundation to enrich the "love my China" charity education special fund. 1000 students from poor families were granted 3 million yuan by the China Charity Education Fund. Since 1995"Love my China" charity education special fund was established, Shanghai Tobacco Group has donated to the charity fund more than 190 million yuan totally,　and　the foundation has fund more than 90000 poverty stricken students. Starting from 2005, the foundation also fund tobacco farmers' children education, such as students from mountainous area in Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. Enditem
