Bangladesh: Anti-Tobacco Activists for Ban on Marlboro Campaign

Anti-tobacco campaigners have demanded immediate stoppage of advertising and promotional campaigns by the multinational tobacco company Philip Morris to promote Marlboro brand of cigarette violating the tobacco control law.

They said the young generation should get rid of the deadly tobacco items.

Anti-Tobacco advocacy organization Progga protested the luxuries rock city concert 'road to rock nation' through which the tobacco company is promoting its Marlboro cigarette, said a press release.

Although organiser of the concerts is 'Live Sqaure' but the main objective of the progarmme is advertisement of Philip Morris, it said. Enditem
