A delegation jointly led by HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group CEO and Communist Party Committee Secretary Wu Yi and Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region (Company) Deputy General Manager Liu Jianchang inspected Xinjiang Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe in northwest China's Xinjiang Uigur Autonomous Region on September 11.

The delegation first of all went to the residential area of workers and staff members of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory. Seeing that the entire residential area is still in a period of fitting, Wu Yi instructed leaders of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory to do a good job of logistics guarantee for the period of fitting, in order that the workers and staff members will lead a happy life and love their jobs.

Afterwards, the delegation inspected the construction of the factory compound including workshops, to elaborately learn about the results of relocation and the situation of resumption of production and on-site management in the wake of execution of a project of relocation and technological transformation of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory.

Speaking at a general meeting of the management of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory, Wu Yi pointed out that recently, Xinjiang Cigarette Factory needs to give priority to well fulfilling the following two tasks – firstly, to launch activities of innovation in management and strengthen management, with the energy focused on promoting both production and management to higher levels, and with integration of brands as a breakthrough point; and secondly, to continue well launching local marketing, to satisfy the market demand by all means, to actively develop markets in the whole of Xinjiang region, to strengthen communication with the tobacco company of Xinjiang region, and to exert all efforts to satisfy the market demand and improve the structure of products under the premise of stabilizing market shares.

Wu Yi also put forward new requirement for long-term work of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory over a future period of time:

After fulfillment of the project of relocation and technological transformation, Xinjiang Cigarette Factory is at a new start point, on which it needs to further promote the level of management. The entire management of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory needs to have greater sense of responsibility and sense of mission, and realistically promote the level of software on the basis of promoting hardware to a higher level, in order to lay a solid foundation for future development of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory.

Also speaking at the meeting, Xinjiang Cigarette Factory Communist Party Committee Secretary Bai Jiuchong, on behalf of the leadership of Xinjiang Cigarette Factory, extended warm welcome and gratitude to the delegation for the inspection, and required the entire management of the factory to understand in an in-depth way the spirit of the speeches given by Wu Yi and other leaders from higher authorities, build up confidence, pool together their strengthen, and keep promoting the level of management, in making due efforts for the development of both HongyunHonghe and Xinjiang Cigarette Factory.
