<strong>China: Schweitzer-Mauduit Delegation Visits HongyunHonghe on Cooperation</strong> Source from: HongyunHonghe Group 09/18/2014 ![]() A delegation from Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc. of the United States, led by Board Chairman and CEO Frederic Villoutreix, paid a visit to HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on August 27, in efforts to strengthen business cooperation with HongyunHonghe. HongyunHonghe CEO Wu Yi, Deputy CEO He Guogang, Board of Directors Secretary Luo Jianhua and leaders of the relevant departments and offices of the tobacco group received the delegation and held talks with the Schweitzer-Mauduit guests. At the talks, Wu Yi extended welcome to the Schweitzer-Mauduit delegation, and briefed the guests on the current situation of economic operation of HongyunHonghe and its targets for the development of competitive cigarette brands. Wu Yi also exchanged views and held discussions with Villoutreix on issues of application of relevant technologies for producing reconstituted tobacco, and expressed the hope that the two sides will strengthen technological cooperation, in order to that application of technologies for producing reconstituted tobacco will make the brands of HongyunHonghe more characteristic, and in order that HongyunHonghe will be able to produce more products meeting the demand of consumers and embodying the flavor styles of the brands of HongyunHonghe. Speaking at the talks, Villoutreix said that for many years, Schweitzer-Mauduit and HongyunHonghe have maintained favorable relations of cooperation, and that Schweitzer-Mauduit will make efforts to meet the demand of HongyunHonghe for brands development, and will strive to well implement the projects of bilateral cooperation, expressing the belief that there will be broader prospects for cooperation between the two sides. Also speaking at the talks, He Guogang expressed the hope that the two sides will promote common development through in-depth and closer technological exchange and cooperation. At the talks, the leaders of the relevant departments and offices of HongyunHonghe exchanged views with the relevant personnel from Schweitzer-Mauduit on specific work of technological exchange and cooperation.
