Armenia Records 34.5% Growth in Tobacco Industry''s Output in Jan-July

Tobacco industry's output amounted to AMD 34,524.4 million in Armenia in comparable prices in January-July this year, a 34.5% increase compared to the same period of 2013, the National Statistical Service reports.

Tobacco production accounted for about 7.7% of the entire processing industry in the period.

According to the statistics, a total of 6,623.7 million of cigarettes were produced in the country in January-July 2014, a 62.8% increase against the same period of the year before. ($1 – 411.29 drams). Enditem
