Azerbaijan Posts Growth in Tobacco Production

The country produced 1,453.1 tonnes of fermented tobacco and 1,153.5 tonnes of cigarettes.

Oxu.Az reports citing Gun.Az that by the information from the State Statistical Committee, tobacco production in the country has grown 31.1% and cigarette production has seen a rise of 94.1%.

In line with statistical data, production of foodstuffs, beverages and tobacco wares made AZN 1,572,500,000 in January-July.

Compared to the same period of the last year, foodstuffs production rose by 3.1%, tobacco by 71.9% and beverages 0.4%. Enditem
