<strong>China: Fine cigarette industry standard workshop held in Nanjing</strong>

On July 24, tobacco industry's slim cigarette standard seminar was held in Nanjing. Experts from technique department of STMA, Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute, China Tobacco Standardization Center and five tobacco manufacturers attended the meeting. Liu Gangyi, director of technique department of STMA, Luo Dengshan, deputy director of Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Xuan Xiaoquan, deputy general manager of China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corp., delivered welcome speech.

Technical experts from China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corp., China Tobacco Hubei Industrial Corp., China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Corp. and China Tobacco Guangxi Industrial Corp. have made a speech respectively. Delegates discussed slim cigarette standard formulation work, and reached agreement on it. The meeting decided to set up a project team of slim cigarette standards, and directors of Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute and China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corp. will responsible for the team work jointly.

Director of China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corp. made a speech on behalf of the company. He introduced the slim cigarette development situation in domestic and foreign markets. China Tobacco Jiangsu Industrial Corp. began to market slim cigarette earlier than other tobacco manufacturing companies, and developed fast, and gained high market share and customer satisfaction.
