Some 10.3 Billion Drams Worth Tobacco Products Produced in Armenia in First Two Months of 2014

Some 10.3 billion drams worth tobacco products were produced in Armenia in the first two months of 2014, a 34.9 % increase when compared to the same period in 2013, according to the latest numbers, released today by the National Statistical Service (NSS).

Tobacco products in January- February 2014 constituted approximately 10.4 % of the output of the total manufacturing industries.

According to the statistics, in real terms some 1.976.7 billion pieces of cigarettes were produced in January and February, which was s 46.8 % more than in January- February 2013. (1-413.98 drams). Enditem
