<strong>China: City Tobacco Company Leaders Visit Retired Veterans</strong>

A high-level delegation of Qujing City Tobacco Company, which is also Qujing City Tobacco Monopoly Administration, visited retired veteran staffers of the company on January 21-22, shortly before the 2014 Spring Festival season, extending season's greetings to them, and wishing them a merry Spring Festival, a good health, a long life and family happiness.

Led by Wu Lizhu, secretary of the Communist Party Committee at Qujing City Tobacco Company and director and manager of the company, and Zhang Zhengyan, member of the Communist Party Committee at Qujing City Tobacco Company and deputy manager of the company, the delegation also included leaders of the Administrative Office and the Communist Party and Mass Work Department of the company.

The retired veterans visited included Zhang Yulin, Zhang Shaode, Lu Shan, Jia Guo'an, Xu Biao and Duan Wenbo.

Visiting each of the retired veterans at their homes, the leaders would shake hands and hold talks with them, elaborately asking about their life, learning about the situation of their life, hearing their opinions and suggestions, reporting to them the achievements made in the development of the company, and interpreting the relevant policies of the Central Authorities, the working requirements of the tobacco industry and Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Company, and both opportunities and challenges faced by the company in business development.

The retired veteran staffers visited expressed thanks to the leadership of the company for its great care of them, and expressed heart-felt happiness about the achievements made by the local tobacco industry in business development over recent years.

With great emotion, they said that over the past few years, the tobacco industry of Qujing has made great achievements arousing widespread attention, and that such great achievements would not have been made without correct leadership of the Communist Party Committee of the company.
