China Tobacco Standardization Research Center has recently won authorization to verify measurement with cigarette and filter tip physical performance comprehensive test desks of the tobacco industry of China, in accordance with the Notice of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration on Launching the Work of Verifying Measurement With Cigarette and Filter Tip Physical Performance Comprehensive Test Desks.

By the end of December 2013, the number of projects of verification of measurement that China Tobacco Standardization Research Center was authorized to perform had reached a total of 11.

All provincial-level tobacco quality inspection stations, all cigarette-making enterprises and the relevant scientific-technological research institutes are required to regularly submit for verification their cigarette and filter tip physical performance comprehensive test desks or have them undergo on-site verification.
