US: Studio Tobac World Tour Samplers Now Available

The 2013 Studio Tobac World Tour for 2013 has begun, so from now until November fans of the company will be able to sample some rare and limited cigars, and even some prototypes.

Studio Tobac, which is a division of the Oliva Family of Cigars, produces such brands as Cain and Nub. World Tour is traditionally how the company tries out new products for the market, by offering new and yet-unreleased cigars in a sample pack to their core audience. They kicked off the tour last weekend in Tampa, Florida and have already scheduled events with more than 70 retailers across the country for the next few months.

Stops on the World Tour include cigar-rolling demonstrations, as well as a cadre of limited-availability products available for purchase. Branded lighters, cutters and other accessories will be free with the purchase of Studio Tobac cigars.

Each event will also host a drawing for a box of Cain F 5 x 43, which are only available during World Tour events. Likewise, the now-infamous World Tour sampler will be an event-only exclusive.

This year's sampler contains six cigars: two prototypes dubbed CTP-013 Toro and SGP-013 Toro, the Cain FF Lancero, the Cain F 5 x 50, the Nub Daytona 460, and the Padilla Studio Tobac Figurado, the same Nicaraguan puro that Cigar Aficionado scored 93 points in April 2012. Only 1,000 boxes of that cigar were produced.

In past years only a few of the cigars from the sampler pack have gone into regular production. Enditem
