China: STMA Delegation Inspects Yunyan Impression Tobacco Farmstead

A high-level delegation from the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration (STMA), led by Deputy Director-General Zhao Hongshun and Director Cheng Jiahua of the STMA's Department of Monopoly, inspected the Stone Forest Park of the Yunyan Impression Tobacco Farmstead of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province on December 12.

During the inspection, Zhao asked in detail about the ongoing construction of the tobacco farmstead and the planning for its future development.

HongyunHonghe Board of Directors Chairman Yao Qingyan specifically introduced to the delegation the "four-grade aromatization" theory of HongyunHonghe, and Zhao frequently nodded in affirmation.

At the essences and flavorings extraction room, Zhao asked in detail about the process of extraction and condensation of essences and flavorings.

At the products show zone, Zhao asked about the production and marketing of brand-name cigarette products of HongyunHonghe, and expressed full affirmation of high comments by consumers on competitive cigarette brands of HongyunHonghe.

The deputy director-general of the STMA pointed out that there exist both support and breakthrough in the planning and execution of the project of the Stone Forest Park of Yunyan Impression Tobacco Farmstead, and that Yunyan Impression Tobacco Farmstead will bring about a "revolution" of tobacco growing as long as it keeps forging ahead by the current guideline of scientific-technological innovation. Enditem
