World Tobacco Growers Day' Will be Celebrated for the First Time on Oct. 29

The World Tobacco Growers Day' will be celebrated for the first time on October 29 this year, the National Tobacco Growers Association said. The event will be held simultaneously in approximately 200 countries. During the event will be presented a petition to the municipalities, ministries, governments and institutions around the world to oppose the measures related to tobacco control.

International Tobacco Growers Association (ITGA) chose the date because on that date the world outside North America became familiar with tobacco. Enditem
