China: Provincial Communist Party Chief Lead Delegation to Inspect HongyunHonghe

A high-level delegation led by Qin Guangrong, secretary of the Chinese Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee and chairman of Yunnan Provincial People's Congress, inspected Yunyan Impression Tobacco Farmstead (Stone Forest Park) and Kunming Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group, and held a symposium on tobacco work at Kunming Cigarette Factory on September 26.

The delegation also included Zhang Tianxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee and secretary of the Communist Party's Kunming City Committee; Cao Jianfang, member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee and secretary general of the Chinese Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee; Ding Shaoxiang, deputy governor of Yunnan Province; Zhang Zulin, deputy secretary of the Communist Party's Kunming City Committee and Kunming City mayor; and other leaders at various levels from Kunming City. Accompanying the delegation on the inspection were Yu Yundong, director (general manager) of Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration; Zhu Shaoming, secretary of the Communist Party group and general manager of China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd.; Yao Qingyan, chairman of the Board of Directors of HongyunHonghe; Wu Yi, CEO of HongyunHonghe; Xu Liwei, secretary of HongyunHonghe Communist Party Committee; and a number of other leaders. Speaking at the symposium, Yu Yundong and Zhu Shaoming respectively delivered reports on the situation of operation of both the manufacturing and commercial sectors of the tobacco industry of Yunnan since the beginning of this year. Also speaking at the symposium, Qin Guangrong fully affirmed the achievements made by the tobacco industry of Yunnan, and expressed gratitude to the tobacco industry of Yunnan for its outstanding contribution to the socioeconomic development of Yunnan Province, on behalf of both the Communist Party Yunnan Provincial Committee and the provincial government. He encouraged the tobacco industry of Yunnan to unswervingly find a path of development that will be "green", ecological, safe and healthy. The symposium was also attended by leaders from Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Yunnan Provincial Commission of Industry and Information Technology, Yunnan Provincial Administration of Finance, Yunnan Provincial Local Tax Bureau, Yunnan Provincial National Tax Bureau, Yunnan Provincial Statistics Bureau, Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, China Tobacco Yunnan Industrial Co., Ltd., HongyunHonghe Tobacco Group, Kunming Cigarette Factory of HongyunHonghe, etc. Enditem
