A Casa de Montecristo Lounge Comes To Dallas

Casa de Montecristo is giving new meaning to the saying "Everything's bigger in Texas."

The Montecristo-branded cigar retailer recently celebrated the grand opening of its massive 4,300-square-foot Dallas location, proving that the Lone Star State's mantra isn't all about pick-up trucks and five-gallon hats, but humidors and cigar lounges, too.

The new location, which is located in the Turtle Creek Village section of Dallas, boasts an 800-square-foot, walk-in humidor with a selection of more than 200 brands. Inside the modern lounge, leather couches and chairs are situated around several large-screen televisions with enough seating to accommodate up to 75 guests.

Casa de Montecristo also has plans to add a full bar with a selection of premium liquors and beer in the near future.

The grand opening began last Thursday with a private party for members of the Montecristo Social Club rewards program and continued throughout the weekend with a series of events from several notable cigar brands, among them Arturo Fuente, La Flor Dominicana and Altadis U.S.A. (owners of the Casa de Montecristo brand and manufacturers of non-Cuban Montecristo cigars).

The Dallas location is the second Casa de Montecristo to open this year after Miami's Casa de Montecristo by Prime Cigar & Whiskey Bar celebrated its grand opening in June. Altadis has been busy with the Montecristo name of late, as the company also opened the Montecristo Cigar Bar in Las Vegas earlier this year.

Casa de Montecristo also has locations in New York City, Chicago, Boca Raton and Boynton Beach, Florida. Enditem
