China: Tobacco Subcompany Holds Symposium on

Fuyuan County Tobacco Subcompany in Qujing City of southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province held a symposium on "green passage" for group cigarette retailers on January 6, with the participation of some local cigarette retailers, in efforts to facilitate cigarette retail in the county.

Speaking at the meeting, Pan Lin, a leader of Fuyuan County Tobacco Subcompany in charge of cigarette retail, provided the participating cigarette retailers with information on the supply of cigarettes, sources of supply of cigarettes of different brands, etc, introduced some new cigarette products in sales promotion, and made replies to some difficult questions raised by participating retailers.

At the meeting, the county tobacco subcompany once again offered training about the formation of new trading alliances, etc.

The holding of the symposium contributed to enabling local cigarette retailers to gain access to information on new cigarette products and sources of supply in a more accurate and rapid manner.
