China’s Tobacco Industry Meets on Regulation over Review of Order Placement on TV

The tobacco industry of China has recently held in east China’s Hangzhou City a meeting on regulation over review of the placement of orders on TV by cigarette retail terminals, in efforts to further promote e-commerce and customer service by the tobacco industry to higher levels, and guarantee regularization, smoothness and high efficiency of on-TV order placement by the tobacco industry. The meeting was organized by the web development department of China Cigarette Sales Corporation, and was hosted by Zhejiang Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, which doubles as Zhejiang Provincial Tobacco Corporation. The participants in the meeting conducted discussions in accordance with the draft Norms on the Business of On-TV Order Placement by Retail Terminals of Commercial Enterprises of the Tobacco Industry and the draft Norms of Techniques for the Business of On-TV Order Placement by Retail Terminals of Commercial Enterprises of the Tobacco Industry, and conducted review and appraisal of both sets of norms in terms of their applicability, completeness, accuracy and compatibility. The reviewers attending the meeting conducted sufficient discussions about the structure of contents, operating rules, working processes and other modules of the norms, with frank expression of opinions, reaching consensus on revision of the norms in a future period of time. The relevant reviewers from the tobacco monopoly administrations (tobacco corporations) of Jiangsu, Chongqing, Shanxi and Zhejiang attended the meeting. Enditem
