BAT Bangladesh Distributing Four Million Saplings

British American Tobacco Bangladesh has entered the 32nd year of its afforestation program in the country by announcing the distribution of four million saplings nation-wide, according to a story in the Financial Express relayed by the TMA. The company's managing director, Arun Kaul, said the company hoped that its environmental efforts would encourage others to take part in similar projects. BAT Bangladesh started its afforestation program in 1980, at a time when the forest department was calling on the private sector for support. Enditem
