Qujing City Tobacco Company Organizes Training on Logistics Source from: Qujing City Tobacco Company 05/15/2012 ![]() The Cigarette Logistics Center of Qujing City Tobacco Company in southwest China's tobacco-producing Yunnan Province organized its subordinate goods delivery department, the transfer stations of its tobacco subcompanies and clients taking deliveries to jointly administer training of their human resources on application of the platform for comprehensive business operation of cigarette logistics on January 8.
The establishment of the platform for comprehensive business operation of cigarette logistics is a project executed under unified organization by Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Monopoly Administration, which doubles as Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Company. Through is operation, the platform is capable of meeting the requirements of Yunnan Provincial Tobacco Company and its subordinate city-level tobacco companies for integration of logistics for both the manufacturing and commercial sectors of the provincial tobacco industry, digitalized warehousing, visualized sorting, intellectual distribution and delivery and precise management, and is intended to unclog the supply chain of the manufacturing, wholesale and retail sectors of the provincial tobacco industry, meet the targets of "visibility, accountability, controllability and delivery to destinations far away" on the part of the work of modern logistics, and provide powerful guarantee for promoting cigarette production in China to higher levels.
Through the training, the trainees have become further familiar with and have mastered the processes of application and operation of the seven major modules of the tasks center, resources center, supervision and control center, administration center, decision-making center, coordination center and systems center of the platform.
